1. Virginia Beach, Virginia

Virginia Beach offers the longest pleasure beach in the world, according to the Guinness Book of World Records. There’s no shortage of fun things to do, even when drinking is not your cup of tea. Key West is the home of the southernmost point of the U.S. This beautiful spot was part time home to Ernest Hemingway, and is current part time home to Jimmy Buffett. As you can imagine, it has plenty of watering holes that kept thirst at bay for the literary genius as well as modern day songsters like Buffett.
